Russia's Zenit Optical Factory, which produces this fine camera equipment, was founded in 1905 by the venerable German optical house Carl Zeiss-Jena. The inexpensive and reliable Zenit 412 35mm SLR camera has long been a prized purchase by Western travelers to Russia. You'll love the array of manual controls – shutter speed, exposure, focus – all but lost on today's robotic point-n-shoots. Comes complete with 58mm f/2 Helios lens, handy carrying case, strap and English instructions. Camera uses two, common D386 button cell batteries (not included).
