Kids will create their own unique poems and design their own rhymes in this quirky and colorful game based on the books of Dr. Seuss. Players will land on a Rhyme space or a Poem space. When they land on a rhyme space, they must replace the last line from a Dr. Seuss rhyme with an all-new phrase. For example, “This was no time for play. This was no time for fun. This was no time for games…” (Add a new line that rhymes!) Children will remember many of the whimsical passages from their favorite Dr. Seuss stories, and then get to add their own creative twist to the tale! If they land on a Poem space, they must make up a poem using the subjects on the card. “Can you make a poem about a Guff?” C’mon now, it’s not that tough! The first player to move their giant hat home, wins the game! This game, invented by an 8-year old, was the winning entry in the National Game Inventors’ Contest. Game comes with Game board, 34 Poem cards, 86 Rhyme cards, 4 Punch-out playing pieces, 4 Base stands, 1 Moving Pawn, Die, and Game instructions. For 2 – 4 Players, Ages 5 and Up. |
