Once upon a time, a pig was playing the piano… The Storybook Game is a hilarious way for kids to sharpen their memory skills and explore their creativity. 54 illustrated playing cards feature objects such as a dog, a pizza, a boat, a singer and an umbrella. Play begins the way all great stories begin, with “Once upon a time…” The first player flips over the top card and begins telling a story that matches the picture. The next player continues the story by flipping over the next card and adding his or her own unique idea for where the story should go. The game continues with each player flipping over a new card and adding to the story. The catch is, only the newest card is showing, so each player must correctly remember the exact order of all the cards in the story that came before. If a player forgets an object or names the wrong one, s/he is out of the game. The winner is the last player remaining – but everyone wins because they’ve created their own unique story! Game comes with 54 playing cards, game instructions, and is packaged in a collectible lunch box tin. For 2 or more players, Ages 4 and up.
