You can substitute any of these pieces for a non-pawn character of your choice to customize your chess set. Best of all, they have been designed specifically to be stored away in the built-in chess board compartments on the side of the Lord of the Rings Collector's Chess Set!. All pieces are made of fine pewter and are meticulously crafted miniature sculptures that measure between 2 and 2 1/2 inches tall. Hero pieces have a green ring around the bottom and villain pieces have a purple ring around the bottom. The hero pieces in this set are: Eowyn, Legolas, Treebeard, Ent, King Theoden, and Gimli. The villain pieces in this set are: 2 different Nazgul on Dragon pieces, Gollum, Smeagol, Wormtongue, and Barad-Dur. Great collector's items, these chess pieces will be treasured for generations.
