GPS III Plus has all of the features of the GPS II (#96098. 01) with some added capabilities. Added enhanced cartographic capabilities normally found on more expensive units have been built into the GPS III Plus. The basemap features over 10,000 additional towns, airport locations, and metro area secondary roads. Garmin has also added extensive exit highway exit information with food lodging and service. Upcoming CD-Roms: MapSource US Roads and Recreation, and MapSource World Map available soon. CDs will be able to update the III Plus by way of the PC kit interface, less cumbersome than other systems using a laptop.
