Available in 5 body types:Regular Gels are creamy like Heavy Body Acrylic Colors and are ideal for extending paint and regulating transparency without changing the consistency of the Heavy Body Colors. Useful for impasto glazing effects. Regular Gels dry translucent. Soft Gels are thinner than Heavy Body Acrylic Colors and can be poured from the jar. When mixed with small amounts of color, they produce a brilliant glaze. Soft Gels can be used as a base for the wet blending of color and also as a glue for collage work. Soft Gel (Gloss) can be thinned with water and brush-applied as a non-removable isolation coat before final removable varnish application. Heavy Gels are thicker than Heavy Body Acrylic Colors and may be blended with colors to increase body. Excellent for holding peaks. Heavy Gels dry translucent. Extra Heavy Gels are the thickest gels and create thicker textures than Heavy Gels. Excellent for holding peaks. They dry translucent. Extra Coarse Clear Granular Gel is made with clear, tiny, transparent particles that are loaded into a gel. Create unique glazing or wash patterns and unusual colorful textured effects. High Solid Gels are similar in body to Extra Heavy Gels; they blend with colors to make them feel more oil-like. Because there is less shrinkage when dry, more brush strokes can be retained.
