Outer shell and chin bar are made of Teanex��a unique alloy of polycarbonate and other materials that's stronger and dissipates impact energy better than fiberglass or conventional polycarbonate. Helmet and integral padded/lined chin bar are 1-pc. design. Extra-large window for unobstructed viewing. Fingertip-adjustable chin-bar and forehead vents for unrestricted air circulation. Black nylon chin strap features soft cushion on sides and under chin to minimize chafing. Cushioned neck roll with black vinyl lower panel helps block elements. Extra-thick cheek padding. Comfortable foam interior is lined with black brushed microfiber nylon. Perforated lining is sweat resistant and moisture absorbent. Can be removed and machine washed. Outer shell is sanded smooth, then painted with premium paint. Metallics are achieved with super-fine flakes for a deep luster. High-gloss clear polyurethane coating protects the painted finish and allows easy soap and water cleanup. Contoured to fit perfectly 1-pc. polystyrene inner shell helps absorb any shocks not absorbed by the outer shell. Flip-up ratcheting face shield is made of clear optical-quality, injection-molded Lexan�, treated to resist scratches. Shield has center tab for 1-finger adjustments. Multi-position ratchet assembly is hidden under screw-on plastic side pods (painted to match helmet). Black rubber base and window trim. Snell certified. Meets or exceeds DOT specifications.
