The door Announcer's patented magnetometer senses a change in the door's orientation when the door is moved. The door sensor chimes, sounds an alarm, or remains silent depending on your mode setting. In addition, the door sensor also sends a radio signal to the receiver anytime the sensor is moved. The receiver will flash a red light and either chime or sound an alarm when the sensor is moved. This product is great for monitoring a door from another room, from across an extremely large room or warehouse, or just about any other door you could think of. The sensor sensitivity can be adjusted to suit various applications. The patented magnetometer technology does not require external reed switches or magnets like most comparable systems. Simply plug the receiver into any standard electrical wall outlet in your home or office. The door sensor on the other hand is completely wireless and can be placed up to 300 feet away from the receiver. Sensor uses 2 included 2025 type lithium batteries. Average battery life is one year.
