Binder is already pre-mixed in the paint. Additional binder may be necessary when colors are thinned with water for color washes and to lesson color intensity. Add binder to colors which will be used on 100% synthetic fabrics, fabrics that will be washed excessively and fabrics to which acrylics do not adhere well.
